Louisiana Purchase Nickels?
 
I just got one of these in change, and I can't recall seeing one before. They were minted in 2004, and it looks as though the standard Monticello nickels weren't produced that year. How could I have missed the introduction of this coin into circulation? Are they rare to any degree? Does anyone else save them? Is it the same deal as the Bicentennial quarters that were issued in '75/'76? Thanks for any comments!

i just checked and each one of those is worth $0.0605122
now to find a melter is another story.
